Math used to be hard for me, but once I started using art to help me draw pictures and create visual images of math concepts, it helped me tremendously!

Individuals with dyslexia often thrive with art. They are very creative and can visualize concepts more easily than many other people. That gave me an idea! Math instruction involves a lot of language and word problem solving - something children with dyslexia struggle with - so why not use art to help them with math?

That is when I decided to create a workbook called The Colorful World of Math Word Problem Solving. It uses art and visuals to help young children learn how to break down and solve math word problems. I can't wait to help even more children with dyslexia thrive!
